Ezekiel 43 and Revelations 6

Ezekiel’s Gate Faces East

Read time: 10 min.

Introduction

This interpretation combines prophecy, symbolism, and geography. It links “Ezekiel’s Gate” that faces east, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and the Nile Delta to Baha’i authenticity.

By the end, you will have possible indications of names, dates, addresses, and missions for the Bab and/or Baha’u’llah.

The Mineral Kingdom

“Say: Nature in its essence is the embodiment of My Name, the Maker, the Creator. Its manifestations are diversified by varying causes, and in this diversity there are signs for men of discernment. Nature is God’s Will and is its expression in and through the contingent world. It is a dispensation of Providence ordained by the Ordainer, the All-Wise.” — Tablets of Bahá’u’lláh, Lawh-i-Hikmat

“…inasmuch as within every atom are enshrined the signs that bear eloquent testimony to the revelation of that Most Great Light”. – Baha’u’llah, Gleanings, pg. 177.

“Split the atom’s heart, and Lo! within it thou wilt find a sun.” – Baha’u’llah, The Seven Valleys

Orientation

The Great Pyramid of Giza is an ancient riddle. Reports from ancient Egyptians and the historian Josephus suggest that the pyramid contains scientific or prophetic knowledge. “Pyramidologists” describe the pyramid as a “Bible in stone”.

The Edgar Brothers employed an expert in cartography and found that rotating the pyramid diagram and laying it on a map shows the passageway angle of 26.3 degrees pointing to Bethlehem. They called this the “Christ Angle.” One can confirm this angle using tools like Google Earth Pro. An onscreen protractor also verifies this accuracy.

The following explanation uses a similar approach: when you rotate the diagram of the Great Pyramid, the north-facing entrance symbolically faces east.

A 5-Point Alignment To The Baha’i Faith

In the diagram below, a map of historic Baha’i locations overlays Rutherford’s drawing of the Great Pyramid2. A baseline runs from the Great Pyramid near Cairo to Shiraz, Iran. From Shiraz, a line extends to Tabriz. Another line depicts Baha’u’llah in Tehran, marking the start of His exile to Baghdad, Iraq, where He made His proclamation. This exile line intersects the pyramid face at the entrance (door or Bab). This exile line enters at an angle and height matching the descending passageway. A small vertical black line at the pyramid entrance indicates that it symbolically faces straight east, corresponding to Ezekiel 43’s “gate facing east.”3

Pyramid Gate Faces Directly East

As the east is one of four cardinal directions, or 90 degrees, Tehran falls well within the Gate’s eastward “prospect” as in the juxtaposition below. Notice how the pyramid diagram is laid flat and then rotated 90 degrees clockwise to get this alignment.

Alignment Mirrors Ezekiel 43

Ezekiel 43: 1-5: The Bab (Arabic for door or gate) was the herald of the Kingdom Age. He was born in Shiraz in 1819 and martyred in Tabriz in 1850.

Baha’u’llah (meaning the Glory of the Lord or God) brought a revelation for peace on earth. The word Baha’i means splendor or glory. The names Bab, Baha’u’llah, and Baha’i will be inserted into the following passage for clarity:

Afterward he brought me to the Bab, even the Bab that looketh toward the east:

And, behold, Baha’u’llah of Israel4 came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his Baha’i.

And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

And Baha’u’llah came into the house by the way of the Bab whose prospect is toward the east.

So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, Baha’u’llah filled the house (in this case, fulfilled pyramid prophecy).

Exile Route of Baha’u’llah Flows Through Gate

The map below shows Baha’u’llah’s actual exile route overlaying the previous diagram. The course from Tehran to Baghdad passes through the symbolic door (the Bab’s teachings) at the 19th course of masonry5. The route meanders above and below the passageway line, averaging to align with it. The first city He reached after crossing this “Life Line” was Ecbatana, a historically significant city.

Alexandria Confirms Alignment

This Alexandria angle is new Info! 5/17/2024:

Tammy pointed out that the delta’s shape resembles the Great Pyramid, so we checked the angles between the pyramid, Alexandria, and Port Said. The angle at Alexandria, where Baha’u’llah was taken during His exile, is almost 52 degrees, the same as the Great Pyramid. The Nile Delta is called a quadrant (90 degrees) as is the 90-degree eastern outlook of the pyramid entrance.

Alignment Works With Other Pyramid Diagrams

Another diagram shows that the five map locations also fit Laboy’s pyramid diagram, constructed using his step-by-step instructions from A Civil Engineer Looks At The Great Pyramid. The red lines overlay the blue lines indicating the profile and entrance to the Great Pyramid.

More On The Nile Delta

One: The “noise of many waters” symbolizes the unifying faith brought by Baha’u’llah, and likely the Nile Delta as a sign. This Delta connects with many waters (rivers, lakes, canals, a sea, and a monsoon season).

Two: The pyramid entrance and delta, though facing north physically, symbolically face east toward Tehran when rotated on the map.

Three: After rotating and superimposing the diagram/map, Baha’u’llah’s course through the Nile Delta from Tehran toward Baghdad represents coming with the “noise of many waters.”

The Nile Delta’s three corners connect to Baha’u’llah: He fulfilled prophecy in the pyramid and appeared at Alexandria and Port Said during His exile.

Tigris River Ezekiel’s “Rushing Waters”

*Tehran is within the eastern-facing quadrant from where Ezekiel was.

If one consults biblehub.com for Ez. 43:2, they will see the various optional translations for “many waters” such as “huge torrent”, “mighty waters”, “ocean waves”, or “rushing waters”.

Tigris means “Rushing Water”

From etymonline.com:

Tigris-

-river in Turkey and Iraq, from an Iranian source akin to words for “arrow,” probably in reference to the swiftness of its current. Compare Old Persian tigra- “sharp, pointed,” Avestan tighri- “arrow.”

From ChatGPT:

🏃‍♂️ Meaning:

The core idea across all these names is the speed of the river. The root word in Old Persian (tigra) literally means “sharp” or “pointed,” but metaphorically it was used to describe something fast-flowing, which matches the character of the Tigris River compared to the slower-flowing Euphrates.

Baha’u’llah’s Proclamation Took Place On The Tigris

From Wikipedia:

The Garden of Ridván (literally garden of paradise) or Najibiyyih Garden[1] was a wooded garden in what is now Baghdad‘s Rusafa District, on the banks of the Tigris river.

Conclusion:

As a possible reinforcement of the connection between Bahá’u’lláh’s exile and Ezekiel 43:2, His route took Him from Tehran to Baghdad which straddles the Tigris River. Here, the voice of His proclamation went out into the world mingled with the sound of the “swift”, or rushing waters of the Tigris. This took place on the first day of Ridvan (“rizwan“) on April 21st, 1863.

Baha’u’llah wrote:

Verily, all created things were immersed in the sea of purification when, on that first day of Ridvan, We shed upon the whole of creation the splendours of Our most excellent Names and Our most exalted Attributes. This, verily, is a token of My loving providence, which hath encompassed all the worlds.

Ezekiel 43:2:

New International Version
and I saw the glory of the God (Baha’u’llah) of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters (Tigris), and the land was radiant with his glory (Baha’i).

Note:

In this version, “the land” was radiant with His glory.

The Light

The Nile Delta appears brightly lit as in the satellite image below.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is delta-at-night-bright.png

The 24th Surah of the Light is said to refer to Baha’u’llah, and could also connect to the Great Pyramid:

35. Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east (i.e. neither it gets sun-rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e. nor it gets sun-rays only in the afternoon, but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allah guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and Allah is All-Knower of everything.”

This special lamp in the niche could be the pyramid (with its reflective casing stones) attached to the Giza plateau on corner sockets. A “tree” that is “neither east nor west” could be the tree-like structure of the Delta which runs north/south. Glowing without the need for fire could describe electricity. Light upon light could mean both the spiritual light of revelation/prophecy and the physical light in this area.

The olive type of tree could symbolize the two “anointed” Christs prophesied by the pyramid passageways because thousands of years ago the Davidic kings were consecrated to their office by anointment with olive oil (symbolic of the Holy Spirit) by the High Priest.

A Baha’i Mystery of Longitudinal Degrees

1853 And 1863

Posted on January 10, 2021 by Landrew

Takor, Iran (birthplace of Baha’u’llah in 1817) and Shiraz, Iran (birthplace of the Bab in 1819) align in longitudinal distance with the Great Pyramid. Takor aligns at approximately 18.53 degrees and Shiraz at 18.63 degrees. These numbers correspond to 1853 (Baha’u’llah’s exile from Tehran) and 1863 (His proclamation in Baghdad). Both cities lie about 1280 miles from the Great Pyramid, aligning with the year 1280 AH. This date appears at the entrance to the pyramid’s king’s chamber.

A strange alignment to dates and places in Baha'i history.

Footnotes:

  1. The angle shows 26.36 because it is hard to get it exactly right using the mouse as a control.
  2. I adjusted the map locations to fit the pyramid using a photo-layering program (Gimp) while maintaining the aspect ratio. This process ensures that when shrinking or enlarging an image layer, the ratio between the x and y axes remains the same, preventing distortion. Only the image size was manipulated to align the two images accurately.
  3. The double archway of the Bab and Baha’u’llah. In the pic below, the door (Bab) faces straight ahead while the face of the pyramid faces the sky. Note that with the Great Pyramid, this door is on the north side and faces the Mediterranean Sea. However, overlaying the pyramid diagram on a map, similar to what the Edgar Brothers did, causes it to symbolically face east.

4. Israel: Place of Baha’u’llah’s ultimate incarceration in the prison city of Akka, and Mt Carmel of Is. 35 where He wrote the Tablet of Carmel and where the Baha’i shrines, terraces and administrative buildings are today.

5. Significance of the number 19: The Baha’i calendar has 19 months each with 19 days. The king’s chamber of the Great Pyramid representing Baha’u’llah is also a little over 19 feet tall.

Conclusion

We find, for one, that geography sometimes reflects God’s plan to bring His kingdom onto Earth as it is in Heaven, and that this temple of stone safeguarded this knowledge for thousands of years.

Possible Golden Criteria gleaned from these geographical alignments:
